these fotos are from a ride we did in some mountains called Killini(near to Korinthos),Menalo and Parnonas.

the hostel


and the village in morning


next morning a local friend bring to us gasoline because there is no gas-station near this area
pit-stop

and we start exploring the beautiful moubntain Parnonas
push and pull the heavy ladies

the perennial olive tree of koutroufa(2500 years old!!)

Great! very nice places and pics;
I went in Greece in July 2011 for some on-off days with a friend, but we ended up to enjoy more the beach due to the weather that was too hot!
I think we found the hottest week of the whole year with temps over 35°...damn!
I propose myself to return in April or May, sooner or later, there's a lot of gravel roads, perfect for travel on dual sport bikes like ours "Dommies".
Our plan was more or less shown in the print below, but, as I told you...

Thanks guys for your kind words.Madmax63 you went in very nice places and another season will be even better.35C+ is very high temperatures to ride wearing protective equipment (vests, boots, etc) especially in gravel roads that speeds are lower than the national highways.
The only thing that could improve the situation would be moving at high altitude which is impossible if you want to cover long distances.
one more thing that complicates the summer riding is dust especially if company consists of many riders.
The sure is that you have an overview about the mountains and the sea of my country
